I am a passionate cook and love simple local food and I do lots of canning in the summer.
I teach elementary school for my day job and cook with the children on occasion and many of them have never seen food that is fresh and local. We make the corn beans and squash and none of them can identify the squash!
I do some personal cheffing and many people walking around have never seen garlic or ginger in its fresh state.
My time is limited but if I can help in any way the summer is my best time.
