Kale Kale Kale!
Recently I have been experimenting with kale; a wonderful, in-season, superfood that is so versitile and delicious. It has been so great using this veggie in soups and salads but have had the most fun creating yummy chips. Kale Chips are a healthy alternative and inexpensive snack that you can make right at home. First break the kale down into smaller chip-sized pieces. Toss the greens in a bowl with olive oil and the spices of your choice. I have used salt and pepper and it is certainly enough but it is also fun to experiment with ingredients like cayenne pepper. Make it your own! Pre-heat the oven to 350 and throw the chips in on a flat pan. Check on the chips every 7-10 minutes and take them out when crispy (Using a dehydrator is an even healthier option). Enjoy!
Cheers!
