Brown’s Brewery: Growing Their Own Hops!
On April 21st Brown’s Brewery and Revolution Hall will be hosting a delicious event in Troy, New York. Slow Food Saratoga Region was honored to accept an invitation to be a part of the night. Not only will there be a local, beer, cheese, meats, and sweets tasting, but in addition a screening of the film Urban Roots. This wonderful event is coming up and I thought it would be fitting to highlight the brewery’s farming ties. Brown’s supports the local economy by purchasing hops from area farmers and has also taken the steps to grow their own hops in Hoosick Falls, NY. In addition the brewery hosts Hop-fest, a hoppy harvest celebration. Brown’s continues to go above and beyond by truly building a relationship with the community and supporting a more sustainable future.Come to Troy and support Brown’s Brewery April 21st.
